Walking
From the center of Pyay, start at the Pyay Market (located at 18.7942, 95.2132). Head south on 2nd Street towards the main road. Turn right onto the main road (Pyay-Mandalay Road) and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several small shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the direction to Bawbawgyi Stupa. As you approach, you will see the stupa rising in the distance. Turn left into the alleyway leading to the stupa, which is located at Q7PP+C6W.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near Pyay Market. Start your journey by heading south on 2nd Street towards the main road. Turn right onto Pyay-Mandalay Road and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. The route is mostly flat and easy to navigate. As you get closer, look for signs directing you to Bawbawgyi Stupa and turn left into the alley leading directly to the stupa located at Q7PP+C6W.
Trishaw (Cycle Rickshaw)
For a more relaxed journey, hire a trishaw from Pyay Market. Agree on a fare before starting your trip. Ask the driver to take you to Bawbawgyi Stupa. The driver will take the most efficient route, typically heading south on 2nd Street and then right onto the main road (Pyay-Mandalay Road). After about 1.5 kilometers, the driver will turn left into the alleyway leading to the stupa at Q7PP+C6W.
