Walking
Start from the center of Pyay, near the main market area. Head southeast on the main road, which is Pyay-Aunglan Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass various shops and small eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for local signs indicating Phaya Gyi Stupa. When you reach the intersection with a small road leading to the left, take that turn. Continue for another 500 meters, and you will see the Phaya Gyi Stupa on your right.
Cycling
If you have a bicycle or can rent one, start from the city center at the main market. Cycle southeast on Pyay-Aunglan Road, maintaining a steady pace. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will notice local shops and residences. Be alert for signage indicating Phaya Gyi Stupa. At the intersection, turn left onto the side road, then continue cycling for about 500 meters. The stupa will be visible on your right as you approach.
Public Transport (Local Bus)
From the main bus station in Pyay, look for a local bus heading towards Aunglan. Board the bus and inform the conductor that you wish to visit Phaya Gyi Stupa. The bus will take you along Pyay-Aunglan Road. Once you reach the vicinity of the stupa, you can ask the conductor to drop you off at the closest stop. After you get off, walk about 500 meters down the small road on the left, and you will find Phaya Gyi Stupa on your right.
