Walking
From the center of Pyay (for example, starting at the Pyay Railway Station), head east on the main road (Pyay-Nyaungdon Road). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Nyaungshwe Road. Turn left onto Nyaungshwe Road and walk for another 1 kilometer. You will see signs pointing towards Shwe Yan Pyay. Follow those directions, and the monastery will be located within a short distance ahead.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Pyay. Start from the Pyay Railway Station and ride east on Pyay-Nyaungdon Road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto Nyaungshwe Road.
