From your current location in Pyin Oo Lwin, head to the main street (Nawaday Road). You can catch a trishaw from one of the many stands along this road. Make sure to tell the driver you're going to Mandalay Palace. The ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. The trishaw will drop you off at the entrance of Mandalay Palace.

Walk to the nearest bus stop along Nawaday Road. Look for a bus heading towards Mandalay. Once on the bus, you can ask the conductor to let you know when to get off for Mandalay. The bus ride takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. Once you arrive in Mandalay, you may need to take a short trishaw ride to reach the palace, which is located in Aungmyaythazan.

If you feel adventurous, you can take a long walk to reach Mandalay. Start from Pyin Oo Lwin and walk along the main road heading south towards Mandalay. This is a long trek of about 66 kilometers, so be prepared with water and snacks. Follow the road signs directing you to Mandalay, and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once in Mandalay, ask for directions to Mandalay Palace.
