From the market, head west along the main road (Mandalay-Pyin Oo Lwin Road) for about 1 km until you reach the junction with the road leading to the Kandawgyi Gardens. You will pass through a residential area and may see signs for the gardens. As you approach the entrance, you will see a large gate and ticket booth on your right.
