    If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest town in Rakhine Yoma, such as Thandwe. From Thandwe, head northeast on Route 8 towards the town of Kyaukphyu. After approximately 50 kilometers, turn right onto Route 16. Continue for about 35 kilometers until you reach the junction for Phawngpui. Follow the signs for Phawngpui, which will lead you through scenic mountainous terrain. The drive takes around 2-3 hours, depending on road conditions. Make sure to have a map or GPS, as some sections may not be well-marked.

  • Bus

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Thandwe to Kyaukphyu. Buses leave regularly throughout the day and the journey takes approximately 1.5 hours.
