From the center of Sittwe, start walking east on Strand Road. Continue straight until you reach the Sittwe Jetty. From there, take a boat across the Kaladan River to Mrauk U. Once you arrive in Mrauk U, you can hire a local guide to take you to Phowintaung Cave Complex.
