    If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Dawei, the capital of Tanintharyi Region. Take the Highway 8 road heading south towards Myeik. Follow the road for approximately 140 kilometers until you reach Kyatchaung. Once in Kyatchaung, navigate towards the coastline to find Tenasserim. The exact coordinates are approximately 11.7367° N, 98.2758° E. Make sure to have a GPS or a reliable map as some areas may have limited signage.

  • Bus

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Dawei to Myeik. Buses leave regularly from the Dawei bus station. The journey will take about 4-5 hours and costs around 5,000 to 10,000 Kyat, depending on the bus company. Upon arriving in Myeik, transfer to a local bus or hire a taxi to Kyatchaung, which is roughly 30 kilometers away and should cost around 3,000 to 5,000 Kyat for a local bus ride. From Kyatchaung, head towards the coastline to reach Tenasserim.
