If you're driving from Taunggyi, head south on the main road towards Kakku. The drive takes approximately 1.5 hours and covers around 50 kilometers. Follow the signs towards Kakku Pagodas, and you will reach a checkpoint. You will need to pay an entry fee of approximately 5,000 MMK per person. Continue down the road, and you will see the pagodas appear on the horizon.

From Taunggyi, you can take a shared taxi or a local bus heading towards Kakku. These usually depart from the main bus station in Taunggyi. The fare is around 2,000 to 3,000 MMK per person.
