If you are driving to Sandamuni Pagoda, start from Mandalay city center. Use the main roads leading towards Mandalay Hill. Follow the signs for Mandalay Hill St. Continue along this road until you reach the Sandamuni Pagoda, which is located at 2435+CW7, Mandalay Hill St, Mandalay. There is parking available near the pagoda.
Public Transportation (Taxi)
To reach Sandamuni Pagoda by taxi, you can easily hail a taxi in Mandalay. Show the driver the address: '2435+CW7, Mandalay Hill St, Mandalay'. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Expect to pay around 3,000 to 5,000 MMK for the trip.
Public Transportation (Trishaw)
For a more local experience, consider taking a trishaw (a three-wheeled bicycle taxi). Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 2,000 to 4,000 MMK from Mandalay city center to Sandamuni Pagoda. The journey will take approximately 25-30 minutes.
