Car
If you're traveling by car from Yangon, head north on National Highway 1. Follow the signs towards Mandalay and take the exit towards Mingun. The drive will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Mingun, look for signs directing you to the Mingun Bell. Parking is available near the site.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Mingun Bell by bus, take a local bus from Yangon to Mandalay. The buses leave from Aung Mingalar Highway Bus Station in Yangon. Look for buses heading towards Mandalay and purchase a ticket (costs around 7,000 MMK). The journey takes approximately 5-7 hours. Once you arrive in Mandalay, take a local taxi to the Mingun ferry terminal (around 5,000 MMK). From the terminal, take a ferry to Mingun, which costs about 1,000 MMK. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. After disembarking, walk towards the Mingun Bell, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal.
