Walking
If you are in downtown Yangon, start at Sule Pagoda, which is a central landmark. From Sule Pagoda, head south on Maha Bandoola Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Botahtaung Pagoda Road. Turn left onto Botahtaung Pagoda Road and walk straight until you reach the Yangon River. From there, follow the river south until you reach the corner of Strand Road. Turn left onto Strand Road and walk for about 10 minutes. You will eventually see the entrance to Sri Kaliamman Devastanam on your right.

From the central area of Yangon, you can take a bus that heads towards the Botahtaung area. Look for bus number 30 or 40 that will take you towards the riverfront. Get off at the Botahtaung Pagoda stop. From there, walk down Botahtaung Pagoda Road towards the river, then turn right onto Strand Road. Walk for approximately 10 minutes until you see Sri Kaliamman Devastanam on your right.
