From the center of Bahan, head south on Old Yay Tar Shay Street. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Kyaik Ka San Road. Bahan Market will be on your right side, just before you reach the traffic lights at the intersection.

If you prefer taking public transport, locate the nearest bus stop on Old Yay Tar Shay Street. Board any bus heading toward Kyaik Ka San Road. The fare is approximately 200 MMK (Myanmar Kyat). Get off at the stop just after Kyaik Ka San Road and walk back a few steps. Bahan Market will be on your left.

You can hire a cyclo (rickshaw) from anywhere in Bahan. Simply tell the driver 'Bahan Market' in Burmese ('Bahan Baazar'). The ride should cost around 1,000 to 1,500 MMK, depending on your starting point and negotiation with the driver. The cyclo will drop you off right at the market entrance.
