Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Bahan, a good starting point is the Bahan Market. From the market, head southeast on Pyay Road for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Kan Taw Min Road. Turn left onto Kan Taw Min Road and continue walking for approximately 300 meters. You will see the entrance to Kan Taw Min Lake on your right side, which leads to Cantonment Gazebo. Follow the path around the lake until you reach the gazebo.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    Look for bus number 60 at any nearby bus stop in Bahan. Board the bus heading towards the Yangon City Centre. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Kan Taw Min Lake' stop. From there, walk back about 100 meters until you see the entrance to Kan Taw Min Lake on your left side. Follow the path around the lake to reach Cantonment Gazebo. The bus fare is approximately 200 MMK.

    You can hire a trishaw from a local vendor in Bahan. Negotiate the fare before you start; it should cost around 1,000 to 2,000 MMK for a short ride to Kan Taw Min Lake.
