Getting there

Car

From Swakopmund, head south on the B2 highway towards Walvis Bay. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Walvis Bay. Once in Walvis Bay, follow the signs for the lagoon and Pelican Point. Turn left onto the C14 road, which will take you towards the coast. As you approach the coast, continue driving until you see the signs for Pelican Point. Depending on the road conditions, a 4x4 vehicle may be recommended for the last stretch to Pelican Point.

Public Transportation

From Swakopmund, take a local bus or shuttle heading to Walvis Bay. Buses leave regularly from the Swakopmund bus station. Once you arrive in Walvis Bay, you will need to hire a taxi or local shuttle that can take you to Pelican Point. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting the journey, as prices can vary. The taxi ride from the town center to Pelican Point will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

Boat Tour
