Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Windhoek, take the B2 highway towards Swakopmund. After about 360 km, you will reach the town of Swakopmund. Once in Swakopmund, follow the main road into the town center. Turn left onto Strand Street and then make a right onto the first street, which is Sam Nujoma Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Robert Mugabe Avenue. The Altes Amtsgericht is located nearby at the coordinates 8GFG+W5X. Parking may be available along the street.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From Windhoek, you can take a long-distance bus to Swakopmund. The most common bus companies are Intercape and Eagle Liner. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours. Once you arrive at the Swakopmund bus terminal, you can either walk or take a taxi to reach Altes Amtsgericht. If walking, head towards the center of town, following the directions given for drivers. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from the bus station.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a taxi after arriving in Swakopmund, you can easily find one at the bus terminal. Inform the driver that you want to go to Altes Amtsgericht. The fare should be reasonable, usually around 100-150 Namibian Dollars depending on traffic and exact location.
