If you're traveling by car, start from Windhoek and head north on the B1 highway. Continue on B1 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the turnoff to Okapuka Safari Lodge. Look for the sign indicating the lodge on your left. Turn left and follow the dirt road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the lodge. Make sure to drive carefully, as the road can be uneven in parts.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, take a bus from Windhoek to Okahandja, which is a common route. The bus ride should take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Okahandja, you will need to take a taxi or a shuttle service to Okapuka Safari Lodge. Be sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around 200-300 Namibian Dollars (NAD) for the ride to the lodge. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes.

Taxi fares from towns like Swakopmund or Walvis Bay to Okapuka Safari Lodge can be quite high, possibly ranging from 700-1000 NAD, depending on the distance and the driver. The journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
