Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Car
If you are driving from the Etosha National Park, exit the park via the Anderson Gate. Head south on the C38 road towards Outjo. After approximately 60 kilometers, you'll reach the junction with the B1 road. Turn left onto the B1 road towards Otavi. Continue on the B1 for about 80 kilometers, and you will see Ohange Namibia Lodge on your right side. Look for the sign indicating the lodge entrance.
Public Transportation
If you're traveling by public transport, you will first need to take a taxi or shuttle from the lodge area in Etosha to the nearest town, which is Outjo. From Outjo, you can catch a bus heading towards Otavi. Request the bus driver to drop you off at Ohange Namibia Lodge or near the B1 highway. Be sure to confirm the bus schedule in advance, as services can be infrequent. Once you arrive at B1, it may be necessary to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the lodge.
Transfer Service
Consider booking a transfer service if you prefer a hassle-free option. Many lodges in the Etosha area offer shuttle services to nearby accommodations, including Ohange Namibia Lodge. Contact your current lodge or hotel to inquire about arranging a transfer. This option may incur additional costs, typically ranging from N$500 to N$1000, depending on the distance and the service provider.
Use Ohange Namibia Lodge as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
