    Getting There

    Car

    To reach Etosha National Park from Hardap, start by taking the B1 highway heading north. Continue on this road for approximately 450 kilometers. You will pass through towns such as Mariental and Windhoek. After Windhoek, follow the signs for the B1 towards Okahandja. Once you reach Okahandja, continue on the B1 until you reach the junction for the C38 road. Take the C38 towards Outjo. From Outjo, follow the C38 road to the Etosha National Park entrance. Make sure to have enough fuel for the journey, as gas stations can be sparse in some areas. Entry fees for the park are approximately NAD 80 per person, and vehicle fees are around NAD 10.

    Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Hardap to Windhoek. The bus companies such as Intercape or Namibia Bus Services operate regular services. From Windhoek, you can catch a bus to Outjo. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance. Once in Outjo, you can hire a taxi or arrange for a shuttle service to take you to the entrance of Etosha National Park. Entry fees will still apply. It is advisable to book your shuttle in advance as options may be limited.
