Car
If you are traveling by car, head to the town of Divundu in Kavango East. From the center of Divundu, take the B8 road heading towards Bagani. After approximately 25 kilometers, you will reach the intersection for the turnoff to Bagani. Turn left onto the gravel road marked 'Bagani'. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers, and you will see signs for Emms Cubango Ecological Camp. The camp is located on the banks of the Cubango River, making it easy to find.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, you can catch a local taxi from Divundu to Bagani. The taxis often wait near the main market in Divundu. The fare to Bagani should be around 20 Namibian Dollars (NAD). Once you arrive in Bagani, you may need to take a short walk or arrange for a local transport service to get to Emms Cubango Ecological Camp, which is about 10 kilometers from the Bagani taxi drop-off point. Make sure to ask locals for directions, as they will be familiar with the area.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, biking from Divundu to Emms Cubango Ecological Camp is also an option. You can rent a bicycle in Divundu. The route follows the same path as if traveling by car, taking the B8 towards Bagani. The ride is approximately 35 kilometers and can take around 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Ensure you have enough water and snacks for the journey, as there are limited stops along the way.
