Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards the B8 road from wherever you are in Kavango. Follow the B8 towards the west until you reach the junction with the B1 road. Turn onto the B1 and continue south towards Windhoek. As you approach Windhoek, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Pioneers Park. Once you reach Pienaar Street, turn left and drive until you reach number 34. Info Namibia is located at Pienaar Str. 34, Box 30627, Windhoek. Make sure to check for parking options nearby as you arrive.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Info Namibia using public transportation, first find a local bus or taxi that travels towards Windhoek. Buses typically depart from designated bus stops in Kavango. Confirm with the driver that they are headed towards Windhoek. The fare should be around N$200 to N$300 (Namibian dollars) depending on your departure point. Once you arrive in Windhoek, you can use a taxi or a rideshare service to get to Pienaar Str. 34. Ensure you have the address ready to show the driver. The cost for this leg of the journey will typically be around N$50 to N$100.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, cycling from Kavango to Windhoek is an option if you are physically fit and prepared for a long ride. Follow the B8 road until you reach the B1, then continue on the B1 south towards Windhoek. Make sure to have plenty of water, snacks, and a map or GPS device for navigation. Once you reach Windhoek, navigate to Pienaar Street and locate number 34. This option may take several hours and requires good weather conditions.
