If you are traveling by car, start from Rundu, which is the largest town in Kavango. Head west on the B10 road towards the town of Grootfontein. After approximately 200 km, keep an eye out for the turn-off to the C40 road on your right. Follow the C40 road for around 30 km. You will see signs directing you to Otjikoto Lake. The journey should take about 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on road conditions.

Once in Grootfontein, find a taxi heading towards Otjikoto Lake, which may take about 30-45 minutes and cost an additional N$ 50-70. Ensure you confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at a suitable point near Otjikoto Lake.
