If you are driving from any location in Kuneneland, head southwest towards Sossusvlei. Depending on your starting point, you may need to take the B1 highway to reach the C27 road that leads to Sossusvlei. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the route to Sossusvlei, as it is a popular tourist destination. Once you reach the Sossusvlei entrance, pay the park entrance fee (approximately N$ 80 per person) to gain access to the area. After entering the park, continue driving towards the Deadvlei parking area, where you will find designated parking spots.

For those without a vehicle, consider taking a shuttle or tour operator that offers transportation to Sossusvlei from major towns such as Windhoek or Swakopmund. These tours typically include transport to the park entrance and may cost between N$ 1,200 to N$ 2,000 per person, depending on the provider and included services. After arriving at the Sossusvlei entrance, you will need to join a guided 4x4 shuttle service that takes you to Deadvlei, which costs around N$ 100 per person.
