Car
To reach Etosha National Park from Lüderitzland, start by heading north on the B4 highway. Continue for approximately 650 kilometers until you reach the junction with the C38 road, which will direct you towards Etosha National Park. Make sure to fill up your fuel tank in towns along the way, as there are limited fuel stations. Once on C38, continue driving until you see the entrance gates to the park. Be prepared to pay a park entrance fee upon arrival, which is typically around 80 NAD per person. The entire journey may take around 8 to 10 hours depending on road conditions and stops.
Public Transportation
For those traveling by public transport, take a bus from Lüderitzland to Windhoek. This journey may take around 12 to 15 hours, so be prepared for a long ride. Once you arrive in Windhoek, you will need to catch another bus heading to Tsumeb, which is the nearest town to Etosha National Park. This leg of the journey will take approximately 5 hours. From Tsumeb, you can either take a taxi or arrange a shuttle service to the park, which is about 40 kilometers away. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary, and book your tickets early to secure a seat.
