If you are driving, head towards Sossusvlei, which is the nearest major location to Deadvlei. From the main entrance of the Namib-Naukluft National Park, follow the signs towards Sossusvlei. The entrance fee for the park is approximately N$ 80 per person (as of 2023). Once you reach Sossusvlei, you will need to park your car at the designated parking area. From there, the Deadvlei Hiking Trail is approximately a 1 km walk. Follow the marked paths leading west from the parking area towards the famous white clay pan. Be sure to bring plenty of water and sun protection as it can get very hot.
