Park your vehicle in the designated parking area, and prepare for a short hike to the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, first take a shuttle or bus from Windhoek to Sesriem. The journey typically takes around 5-6 hours, and costs approximately 300-400 Namibian Dollars (NAD). Once in Sesriem, you will need to arrange for a taxi or local shuttle service to take you to Marais's Point, which is about a 60-kilometer drive. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver beforehand, as it may range from 700 to 1000 NAD for a one-way trip.
