If you're traveling by car within Namib-Naukluft National Park, first head towards Sossusvlei. Look for the signs indicating the direction to Sossusvlei, which is approximately 60 kilometers from the park entrance. Upon reaching the Sossusvlei area, you will find a parking area designated for visitors. From here, you will need a 4x4 vehicle or a shuttle service to reach Deadvlei, as the last part of the journey is on sandy terrain. Many lodges and tour companies offer shuttle services for this segment. Once you board the 4x4 or shuttle, it will take about 15-20 minutes to reach Deadvlei.

For those relying on public transportation, you can take a shuttle from Swakopmund or Windhoek to the Sossusvlei area.
