If you are driving, from the Sesriem entrance gate of Namib-Naukluft National Park, take the C19 road heading east for approximately 60 kilometers. You will pass through stunning desert landscapes. Keep an eye out for the signposts indicating Sossusvlei. As you approach Sossusvlei, you will reach a junction; turn left onto the 4x4 track leading directly to Sossusvlei. Note that a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for this stretch of road due to sandy conditions.
