Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Okahandja, head southeast on the B1 road towards Windhoek. Walk along the roadside, keeping a lookout for the Namibian flag and the local shops. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the intersection with the C29 road. Turn right onto C29 and continue walking. Follow C29 for about 5 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Windhoek. As you enter Windhoek, look for signs directing you to Klein Windhoek. Continue straight until you reach Kasteel Street.

• Public Transport

  From Okahandja, you can take a local bus or shuttle service heading to Windhoek. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the Klein Windhoek area. Once you arrive, you can ask locals for directions to Chateau Street. Sanderburg is located at C3FV+X7C, c/o Kasteel, Chateau Street. It’s a short walk from the bus drop-off point.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Okahandja central area and cycle southeast on the B1 road. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers until the intersection with C29. Turn right and proceed on C29 for approximately 5 kilometers, cycling through the scenic routes leading into Windhoek. Once you reach Klein Windhoek, look for Kasteel Street where Sanderburg is located.
