From the center of Omaruru, head southwest on the main road, which is the B1 highway. Walk along this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the D2344 road. Look for the sign indicating Gross Okandjou. Turn left onto D2344. Continue on this road for about 3.5 kilometers. You will see Gross Okandjou on your right. The location is well-marked, and the scenery along the way is quite nice, making it a pleasant walk.

Starting from the Omaruru town center, rent a bicycle from a local shop if you don't have one. Ride southwest along the B1 highway for about 1.5 kilometers. At the junction, turn left onto D2344. Continue cycling for roughly 3.5 kilometers. Gross Okandjou will be on your right. The route is mostly flat and offers a scenic ride, with opportunities to enjoy the surrounding landscape.
