As you approach Karibib, look for the rest area sign on your left. The Okahandja-Karibib Rest Area (Rest Area9) is located at the coordinates 3V86+2C, which is a well-known stop-off point for travelers. The walking distance from Omaruru to this rest area is approximately 25 kilometers, so be prepared for a long trek.
