Starting from central Oshana, head west on the B1 road, which is the main highway through the region. Continue on the B1 for approximately 15 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the turnoff to the Abandoned Elephant Abbatoir at coordinates (-18.9713924, 14.861150299999998). Turn onto the dirt road leading to the abbatoir. Be cautious as the road may be uneven. Park your vehicle at the designated area near the site.
Public Transportation
From Oshana, take a local taxi (known as a kombi) heading towards the main highway (B1). Inform the driver that you want to go to the Abandoned Elephant Abbatoir. The fare should be around 15 NAD. Once you reach the nearest junction to the abbatoir, you may need to walk approximately 3 kilometers on foot to reach the site. Be prepared for uneven terrain and make sure to wear suitable footwear.
