Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Ongwediva, start at the Ongwediva Town Council building. Head south on the main road (C46) towards Okatana. Continue straight for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with the B1 highway. Turn left onto the B1 highway and continue for about 3 kilometers. You will pass various shops and local businesses along the way. Keep an eye out for the turn to Okatana on your right. After about 3 kilometers on the B1, take the right exit towards Okatana and continue on this road for 5 kilometers. As you enter Okatana, look for the signs pointing to Ovimbundu Tuvindele Park, which will be to your left. Follow the signs until you reach the park entrance.

• Public Transport (Taxi)

  From any point in Ongwediva, find a local taxi (often referred to as a 'combi' or 'taxi') by heading to the nearest taxi rank. Inform the driver that you want to go to Ovimbundu Tuvindele Park in Okatana. The driver will take you along the B1 highway towards Okatana. The fare should be reasonable, and the trip will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Okatana, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the park, and you can follow the signs to the park entrance from there.
