If you're driving from Oshakati, head southeast on the B1 road towards Ondangwa. Continue for approximately 20 km until you reach the turnoff for the C40 road. Turn left onto C40 and continue for about 12 km. Look for signs indicating Olukonda and Nakambale Museum. After about 2 km on the C40, you will see the museum on your right. Parking is available on-site.

To reach Nakambale Museum via public transportation, take a taxi or minibus from Oshakati to Ondangwa. These minibuses frequently run and will take you on the B1 road. Once you reach Ondangwa, you can find another taxi or minibus that travels towards Olukonda. Specify to the driver that you want to stop at Nakambale Museum. The total cost for the trip may vary but expect to pay around 30-50 NAD for the Oshakati to Ondangwa leg and another 15-30 NAD for the Ondangwa to Nakambale Museum leg.
