Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from any central point in Oshikoto. Head southeast on the B1 road toward Grootfontein. Continue on this road for approximately 200 kilometers. Once you reach Grootfontein, look for Eriksson Street. Turn left onto Eriksson Street, and you will find Grootfontein Museum on your right. The museum is well-signposted, and parking is usually available nearby. Note that there may be a small entrance fee to visit the museum.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Grootfontein Museum using public transportation, first locate a local bus station in Oshikoto. Take a bus heading towards Grootfontein; these buses are often labeled with their destination. The bus ride will take around 2-3 hours depending on traffic.
