Car
From Tsumeb, take the C40 road heading north towards Etosha National Park. Travel approximately 70 kilometers until you reach the Anderson Gate entrance to the park. Pay the entrance fee, which is around NAD 300 per person for a day visit. Once inside, follow the main road (D roads) towards Okondeka. Keep an eye out for road signs directing you to Okondeka, which is approximately 30 kilometers from the entrance. The waterhole is well-marked and offers great opportunities for wildlife viewing.
Public Transportation
Take a shuttle or bus service from Tsumeb to the entrance of Etosha National Park. Several operators provide services to the park, and the fare typically ranges from NAD 150 to NAD 300 depending on the operator. Once you arrive at the Anderson Gate, you will need to hire a local guide or arrange for a park vehicle to take you to Okondeka, which is about 30 kilometers inside the park. Be sure to negotiate the cost of the vehicle hire with your guide beforehand.
