From Oshikoto, head south on the B1 highway towards Tsumeb. Continue on the B1 for approximately 80 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for the C39 road towards Ongava Game Reserve. Turn left onto the C39 and follow the signs for approximately 20 kilometers. The entrance to Ongava Game Reserve will be on your right. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for gravel roads, as the last part of the journey is on unpaved roads.

From Oshikoto, take a bus or shuttle service to Tsumeb. These services are available daily and can be found at local bus stations. The bus ride will take about 1.5 hours and cost around N$ 50. Once in Tsumeb, you will need to arrange for a taxi or shuttle to Ongava Game Reserve. The distance from Tsumeb to Ongava is approximately 20 kilometers, and a taxi ride will cost around N$ 200. Make sure to confirm the taxi fare before starting your journey.
