Car
From Oshikoto, head west on the B1 highway towards Tsumeb. Continue for approximately 65 kilometers until you reach the T-junction near Tsumeb. At the junction, turn left onto the C38 road. After about 10 kilometers, you will see the entrance to Onguma Private Game Reserve on your right. Follow the signs for Onguma Leadwood Campsite, which is located within the reserve. Ensure to have an entry fee ready, as there may be costs associated with entering the reserve.

Public Transport
Traveling by public transport, start by taking a minibus taxi from Oshikoto to Tsumeb. The journey should take about 1 to 1.5 hours and cost around 30 Namibian dollars. Once in Tsumeb, you will need to arrange for a taxi or shuttle service to take you to Onguma Private Game Reserve. This is about a 10-kilometer drive, and you should expect to pay around 200 Namibian dollars for the taxi service. Make sure to confirm the cost with the driver before starting your journey.

If you are renting a car, follow the same route as outlined for driving from Oshikoto. Be mindful of wildlife, especially near dusk and dawn. The roads can be unpaved within the reserve, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for accessing certain areas of Onguma Leadwood Campsite.
