The driver will take you along the B1 road towards Windhoek. After about 18 km, you will see the turnoff for Aloegrove Safari Lodge. The total travel time should be around 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.
Public Transport (Bus/Minibus)
While there is no direct public transport route to Aloegrove Safari Lodge, you can take a minibus taxi heading towards Windhoek from the main taxi rank in Otjiwarongo. Inform the driver that you need to get off at the turnoff for Aloegrove Safari Lodge, which is about 18 km down the B1. Once you arrive at the turnoff, you can either walk the remaining distance (approximately 3 km) or arrange for a local taxi to take you the rest of the way.
Walking
If you find yourself in Otjiwarongo and are up for a walking adventure, you can walk along the B1 road towards Windhoek. However, this requires caution as the road can be busy. After walking about 18 km, look for the sign for Aloegrove Safari Lodge. From there, it is a short walk (approximately 3 km) on a dirt road leading to the lodge. Make sure to carry enough water and wear appropriate shoes.
