Car Rental
If you're driving from Swakopmund or any other city in Namibia, you will need to head towards the B2 highway. Follow the B2 south until you reach the junction with the C14 road. Take the C14 road and continue towards Sesriem. The drive is approximately 5 hours from Swakopmund. Upon reaching Sesriem, turn onto the C27 road, which leads directly to the Kulala Desert Lodge. The lodge is located just outside the entrance to Sossusvlei. Watch for signposts leading to Kulala Desert Lodge, specifically at coordinates -24.6148915, 15.703432999999999.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a shuttle bus from Windhoek to Sesriem. This journey takes around 5-6 hours. Upon arrival at Sesriem, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a pre-booked transfer to Kulala Desert Lodge, which is about 30 km away. Make sure to confirm the rate with the driver beforehand; typical costs can range from N$500 to N$700.
