Car
If you are traveling by car within Spitzkoppe, start from the main entrance of the Spitzkoppe area, which is well-marked. Drive along the main dirt road leading deeper into the Spitzkoppe area. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) until you see a sign for the Spitzkoppen Community Campsite on your right. Turn right and follow the road until you reach the campsite, which will be clearly indicated with signage.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options to Spitzkoppe are limited. If you're starting from Windhoek, take a bus to Swakopmund. Once in Swakopmund, you can hire a taxi or arrange for a shuttle service to take you to Spitzkoppe. Upon arriving at the main entrance of the Spitzkoppe area, you will need to arrange for a local taxi or transport to take you the remaining 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) to the campsite. It is advisable to negotiate the fare beforehand, which may cost around 200-300 Namibian Dollars (NAD).
