Getting There

  • Walking

    From central Swakopmund, head towards the beach. Walk along Strand Street until you reach the oceanfront. Continue along the beach promenade heading south. Follow the promenade as it curves around to the right until you reach the end of the beach area. From there, you will need to walk along the main road (B2) heading towards Walvis Bay. Keep walking straight on the sidewalk until you reach the entrance to Walvis Bay, which is about 30 minutes away from Swakopmund's center.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Swakopmund. Start at the Swakopmund Jetty and cycle along the beach promenade heading south. After about 3 km, you will reach the main road (B2).
