Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Windhoek, make your way to the Independence Avenue. Walk towards the south until you reach the intersection with Bahnhof Street. At this intersection, turn right onto Bahnhof Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the next major intersection with Louis Botha Avenue. From there, turn left onto Louis Botha Avenue. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you see the National Museum of Namibia on your right at the address C3JP+8W2.
Public Transport (Minibus Taxi)
To reach the National Museum of Namibia via a minibus taxi, head to the nearest taxi rank in Windhoek, which is usually located near the central market. Look for a minibus heading towards the city center or specifically to the area around Independence Avenue. Once you board the taxi, inform the driver that you want to go to the National Museum. They will drop you off near the museum on Louis Botha Avenue. From there, walk a short distance to the museum entrance.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Windhoek. Start your ride from the central area, heading towards Independence Avenue. Once you reach the intersection with Bahnhof Street, turn right. Continue straight until you reach Louis Botha Avenue, then turn left. Keep cycling for about 10 minutes until you spot the National Museum of Namibia on your right side at C3JP+8W2.
