If you are starting from the Windhoek Central Business District (CBD), head east on Independence Avenue towards the Namibia Craft Centre. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the junction with Robert Mugabe Avenue. Turn left onto Robert Mugabe Avenue and walk for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with 5th Street. At this point, turn right onto 5th Street and continue walking until you reach the junction with John Meinert Street. Turn left onto John Meinert Street, and after approximately 600 meters, you will find the entrance to the Botanical Garden Walking Path on your right.

From the Windhoek CBD, you can catch a minibus taxi heading towards Klein Windhoek. Look for a taxi that is marked for Klein Windhoek and board it. The fare is usually quite affordable. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Botanical Garden. The taxi will drop you near the entrance to the Botanical Garden Walking Path. From there, you will only need to walk a short distance to reach the entrance.
