Walking
If you are starting from the Windhoek City Centre, head south on Independence Avenue. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Sam Nujoma Drive. Turn left onto Sam Nujoma Drive. Walk along Sam Nujoma Drive for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Voight Street. Turn right onto Voight Street, and you will find Chameleon Backpackers located a short distance down the street on your left.
Public Transport (Taxi)
From anywhere in Windhoek, you can take a local taxi (often referred to as a 'shared taxi'). Tell the driver you want to go to Voight Street. The fare is typically low, around 10-20 Namibian Dollars, depending on your starting point. The driver will drop you off on Voight Street, and Chameleon Backpackers will be a short walk from the drop-off point.
Public Transport (Bus)
Locate the nearest bus station in Windhoek. Take a bus heading towards the Windhoek Central area. Once you arrive at the central bus terminal, exit and head towards Independence Avenue. From there, follow the walking directions provided above, heading south on Independence Avenue and turning onto Sam Nujoma Drive, then onto Voight Street.
