Car
From Zambezi, head southeast on the B8 road towards Katima Mulilo. After approximately 30 km, take the C49 towards the eastern route. Continue for about 150 km until you reach the T-junction at the C49 and C43 roads. Turn left onto the C43 and follow it for another 40 km. Look for signage indicating Khaudum National Park. Note that the last section of the road may be unpaved, so a 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended.
Public Transportation
Travel from Zambezi to Rundu by taking a local bus or shuttle service. This journey typically takes around 2-3 hours. Once in Rundu, look for a local transport service that can take you to the entrance of Khaudum National Park. Be prepared for the last leg of your journey to be on unpaved roads, which may require a 4x4 vehicle. Confirm costs with the transport service, as they can vary.
