    Getting There

    Car

    If you are driving from Zambezi, start by heading southwest towards Katima Mulilo on the B8 road. The drive is approximately 150 kilometers and will take around 2 hours. Once you reach Katima Mulilo, continue on the B8 until you reach the junction with the B10 road. Turn left onto the B10 road towards Rundu. After about 40 kilometers, you will reach the junction with the C34 road. Turn right onto C34. Follow this road until you reach the Etosha National Park entrance. The Okaukuejo resort is located inside the park, approximately 17 kilometers from the entrance. Note that you will need to pay an entrance fee to enter the park, which is around N$ 80 per person, plus N$ 10 per vehicle.

    To reach Okaukuejo from Zambezi using public transport, take a bus from Katima Mulilo to Rundu. The journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once in Rundu, you will need to take another bus or a taxi to the Etosha National Park entrance. Make sure to confirm with local transport operators about the bus schedules and availability. Upon reaching the park entrance, you will have to pay an entrance fee of around N$ 80 per person, plus N$ 10 per vehicle. From the entrance, you can arrange for a shuttle service or taxi to take you to Okaukuejo, which is about 17 kilometers away. It's advisable to pre-book this transportation.
