From Nibok, start by heading south on the main road, which runs parallel to the coast. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach the junction at the southern end of the island. Turn left at the junction and follow the road as it winds inland. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will see signs for Central Plateau. Follow the signs and drive for another 2 kilometers until you reach the plateau. There are no specific parking facilities, so you may need to park along the roadside.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, look for a local bus that travels along the southern route. Buses generally run every hour from the main bus terminal in Nibok. Board the bus heading towards the southern end of the island and inform the driver of your destination, Central Plateau. The bus fare is approximately 2 Nauru dollars. Once you reach the junction, you may need to walk about 2 kilometers to the plateau, as buses do not drop off directly at the site. Make sure to ask locals for directions if you are unsure.
