If you are traveling by car, head towards Tekamah, NE. From the center of Tekamah, take E 15th St heading east. After approximately 1 mile, turn south onto Co Rd G. Continue on Co Rd G for about 3 miles until you reach the entrance of Summit Lake State Recreation Area at 2787 Co Rd G. There is no entrance fee, but be sure to check the rules and hours of operation before visiting.
