Getting There

• Public Transit - Bus

If you take the #2 bus, board at your nearest stop heading toward 'East Omaha.' If you opt for the #11, board in the direction of 'West Omaha.' Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 'Hawthorne Ave & 36th St.' From the bus stop, walk south on 36th Street for two blocks until you reach Hawthorne Avenue. Turn left (east) on Hawthorne Avenue and continue walking for about one block. The Edgar Zabriskie Residence will be on your right at 3524 Hawthorne Ave.

• Walking

  If you are already near the Bemis Park area, you can walk directly to the Edgar Zabriskie Residence. Head towards Hawthorne Avenue, which is easily accessible from the park. Walk along Hawthorne Avenue until you reach number 3524. This historical landmark is located between 35th Street and 36th Street, and it is a pleasant walk through a residential neighborhood.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, start from your current location in Omaha and head towards the nearest bike path. Utilize the Omaha bike-sharing service if available. Cycle towards the Bemis Park area, which is roughly 1.5 miles from downtown Omaha. Once you reach the park, continue onto Hawthorne Avenue and head east. The Edgar Zabriskie Residence will be on your right at 3524 Hawthorne Ave. Make sure to follow local bike lanes for safety.
